Setting Up Your Organization

After verifying your email, you’ll be guided through a short setup process to configure your organization profile.

The first step is to select what type of organization you are:

  • Grant Seeker — Choose this if you are looking for funding for a ministry, parish, school, or organization, and you want to learn more about fundraising.
  • Funder — Choose this if you are a member of a foundation or private funder that provides funding to organizations.

Most users of the Catholic Funding Guide are grant seekers. Click the option that fits your organization to continue.

The setup form walks you through three steps:

Enter your organization’s official name. This is how your organization will appear throughout the Catholic Funding Guide.

Provide your organization’s address:

  • Street Address (line 1 and optional line 2)
  • City
  • State
  • Postal Code
  • Country

Fill in additional information about your organization:

  • Founding Date — When your organization was established
  • Mission Statement — A description of your organization’s purpose and work
  • Annual Budget — Your organization’s annual operating budget
  • Safeguarding questions — A series of checkboxes about your organization’s compliance and practices, including whether you are a charitable entity, listed with the Official Catholic Directory (OCD), provide services to children, have training requirements, and have a written safeguarding policy

After completing all three steps, click Finalize to save your organization profile. You’ll be automatically redirected to the plan selection page where you can choose a subscription and start using the Catholic Funding Guide.
